Prescience – filtering out the static
Everyone is having prescient thoughts all the time, the problem is that we are also having random , non-prescient thoughts, and most of us can’t tell the difference.
One deeply insightful, meaningful moment of awareness, about our most likely future, is swamped by 100 completely random musings about what could happen, or might come to be. When we get to the future we don’t recognise that for one second we KNEW this was going to happen. Because we can not filter out the static.
The real skill, and it can be learnt, is to filter out the static.
